Where did you engage in rehabilitation and how long did it take?
I did inpatient rehabilitation for 12 weeks. When I came home I did home care
and then outpatient stroke rehabilitation

until a few months ago when we ran out of resources. I am now just doing
rehabilitation on my own. My wife Jane and I joined a gym for so I can use the
machines there.

Why did you decide to look for additional tools for at-home rehabilitation? Were

My therapist and I were searching for alternative stroke physical therapy
exercises that I can do at home. We did not consider or purchase any other

My wife Jane was nervous about getting involved with the Smart Glove because she
is not good with computers, but speaking to the NEOFECT Occupational Therapist,
Rachel was very helpful and helped clear up anything that was confusing. Jane
said that having an in-person onboarding session would have made it a bit better
but she found the onboarding session to be helpful.

How long have you been using the NEOFECT Smart Glove? What functional changes
have you noticed since you started using the Smart Glove?
I do not have much active movement is my left upper extremity and am utilizing
the Smart Glove with e-stim. I am noticing that my tone is breaking up a bit and
I feel as if my wrist is getting a little stronger.

up video visit?
We were not aware of this although we might do one soon. Any time we have ever
had any issues or problems we have reached out and we were able to get the help
needed.

What advice would you give to someone that’s thinking about coming on board with

We would tell people to be prepared because it can be a slow process and be
patient because it is worth it! Be prepared for the repetition and to do it
every day.
As of now I only have a limited amount of games that I can play because I do not
have much active movement in my hand and I’m using the E-stim for wrist
flexion/extension exercises.
